Busy mornings call for something simple, filling and made from real food. These Chocolate & Banana Baked Oats are a nourishing, make-ahead breakfast packed with whole ingredients that keep you satisfied and ready for the day ahead.
Ingredients
- 3 ripe & mashed bananas
- 80g Purition chocolate
- 2/3 cup of nut butter
- 1/4 cup of maple syrup or honey
- 2 cups rolled oats
- splash of milk or water (enough to bind the mixture)
Optional: Top with dark chocolate chips
Method:
- In an oven dish, combine all of your ingredients, slowly adding milk to combine into a wet mixture
- Bake at 170 degrees for 20-25 minutes until edges are golden and bars have firmed
- Remove, allow to cool, slice & enjoy
Notes:
- Keeps well in the fridge for 4 days so it's a great option for meal prep
- Serve with a dollop of Greek yoghurt for some extra protein
