When a midday craving strikes, these simple 3 ingredient energy balls are the perfect answer. Made with real, whole ingredients, they're naturally satisfying, easy to prepare and ideal for keeping in the fridge or taking with you on-the-go.
A little bit of planning means you'll always have a nourishing snack ready whenever hunger calls.
Ingredients
- 1 small banana
- 50g any Purition flavour (we love using Chocolate!)
- 160g oat flour (or ground oats)
- Optional: dash of cocoa powder, crushed nuts, or chocolate for coating
Method:
- Mash the banana until smooth with no lumps remaining
- Add the remaining ingredients and mix until a dough forms
- If it's too wet, add some more oats, if it's too dry, add a splash of milk
- Roll the dough into bite-sized balls, then place in the fridge for an hour or the freezer for 20 minutes
- Optional: Coat the energy balls in melted chocolate, or roll them in cocoa powder or crushed nuts.
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge and enjoy within 2–3 days.
